Clinical Pathology

STPA is committed to delivering excellence in Clinical Pathology services with full-time, board certified clinical pathologists on staff, assisted by other board certified pathologists with special interest and experience in clinical laboratory medicine. Working in concert with hospital administrators, STPA assures that newly developed tests and innovative technology are implemented in a timely fashion, and that all regulatory requirements are met.

Such techniques as molecular testing for infectious agents, specialized coagulation testing and fully automated chemistry testing allow both complex and routine tests to be processed quickly and accurately to meet clinical needs. For extremely urgent situations, STPA has consulted with physicians and management to provide appropriate bedside testing (point-of-care) protocols.

The Clinical Pathology service provided by STPA is specifically attuned to patient and clinician needs, with personal interpretation and consultation for situations such as complex blood banking, serologic, coagulation tests and others. In summary, STPA prides itself in providing full-service medical support for laboratory needs on multiple hospital and ER campuses.
